KET

What is it?

KET is a basic-level qualification for new English language learners.

This course is especially designed for learners to communicate in simple situations

The exam tests all the four skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Students who complete this course are able to understand and use basic phrases and expressions; write in simple English, introduce and answer basic questions independently and interact with English speakers at a basic level. This course also prepares you for higher level examinations such as Cambridge examinations, PET or FCE.

FCE

What is it?

FCE qualification proves you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English. This course is a step below Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) This course ensures that participants communicate effectively face-to- face, expressing opinions and presenting arguments; listen to and understand news; write clear, detailed English language, expressing opinions and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different points of view and write letters, reports, stories and lots of other types of texts.

What will I gain from it?

FCE enables you to be accepted for entry to foundation/pathway/pre-sessional courses in English-speaking countries; to be accepted for entry to undergraduate programmes taught in the medium of English in non-English-speaking countries.

CAE

What is it?

CAE qualification proves that you have achieved high-level in learning English language. This course prepares for a qualification which is accepted in more than 6000 universities around the world. Preparing for Cambridge English: Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries. This course prepares students to follow an academic course at university level, communicate effectively at a managerial and professional level, participate with confidence in workplace meetings or academic tutorials and seminars and express yourself with a high level of fluency

PET

What is it?

PET is an English language course for students who have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use. This course is the step before you take FCE. In this course, students gain skills to read simple textbooks and articles in English language; write letters and emails on everyday subjects; take meeting notes and show awareness of opinions and mood in spoken and written English.
